4 mile: 28:10 (2005)

10K: 43:33 (2010)

10 mile: 1:13:35 (2009) (1:12:15 split in 1/2 marathon, 2011)

1/2 marathon: 1:34:31 (2011)

marathon: 3:19:15 (2013)

Short-Term Running Goals:

3:20 marathon - Eugene Marathon, April 28, 2013 (can I say I really want a sub 3:20? but I will be happy with 3:20-3:23) -- whoohoo!

Some good intermediate races 15K - 1/2 marathon, to gauge my fitness level (done this, hit a 1:34:35 1/2 marathon in March 2013, on a hilly course)

Going after my 10 mile PR in Fall 2013

Maybe some good 10K races after the infernal Arizona summer is over!

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to be one of those runners who is still running in their 80s (or 90s?).  You know the ones, who look all grisley and fit?  That is what I would like!  Until then, I just want to work hard and be as fast as I can, for as long as I can.

yippee.  I felt pretty good this morning ... I think a nap in the afternoon (yesterday) really helps the next morning too.  AND, my brother is ok, if all goes well he will be released from the hospital tomorrow (Saturday).  They don't know what happened, he doesn't have any risk factors except that he travels by air (a lot, like weekly).  Scary.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Well Hi there my AZ running friend! I arrived in Tucson last week Wed and have been enjoying some early morning runs in Oro Valley. Did a long one on the River Parkway on Thursday. Was wonderful! Would love to meet you one of these days!

Hi Barb -- are you still here???? Why didn't you let me know? I am in Oro Valleys on Tuesday's and can meet you on the River trail pretty much any time, depending on when you run.

How is your trip - are you running the SF marathon again this year?

Hi Bonnie! I'm still here...I'm stateside based in Tucson until the end of August. Yes, I am running the SFM. Been training to break the 4 hour barrier. Tuesday's are great for meeting. I have to admit that mornings are better for me because I'm not used to the heat! Anytime from daybreak on. I usually catch the River trail at La Canada and River...I just learned today at lunch that there's another trail near Oracle and 1st, behind the Target there. So, don't know if you might be referring to that one. Give me a call: 981-6008. I live near Tangerine & 1st
