Ran 8 miles in the gully with Ian and a couple other guys too for part of it. It felt good and was easy. My body is just getting used to longer runs again haha. Tomorrow Im going to run with Andrew Brewer, not sure how far we are going for but I will get to at least 5-6 tomorrow. Then Wednesday and Thursday I will run with the team and that will be a lot of fun. Then Friday and Saturday I need to do my weekly specified workouts, not ideal do to them back to back but oh well. I think my schedule for the remaining weeks will be Monday Wednesday and Thursday with Alta team. Tuesday will be my 3 mile tempo day. Friday will be my 12x1 minute interval run, Saturday or Sunday will be my day off if I need one and the other one or both will be easy long runs. Also I checked my weight today and I'm down to 140 flat, so that is going to help a ton with cross country and running in general! That means I'm 15-20 pounds down from what I was in high school, I feel like I could be a lot faster this year just with that! |
