I cheated today, I ran the same route as yesterday but I was feeling really pumped so I ran it pretty hard and finished it in 24 minutes instead having to walk in the last part. Afterwards I calculated it closer and realized its like 3.5 miles. So I went 3.5 in 24 minutes, that's a decent pace under 7:00. I was feeling really good. I need to figure out a better system for calculating mileage...or just get a Garmin. But I'm pretty sure the idea is that I'm doing about 3 miles, a little more probably isn't too bad a thing, better than too little. I will try to keep it to 3 miles tomorrow though, or like 3.2 to make sure its past 3. |
