Went to PT "Gait Training" today and ran 4 miles in 30 mins on the mill while listening to some sort of beat to keep at 180 strikes per minute. Appointement was at 7:00 am and I felt like I was getting a cold so it was hard to start this pace right off the bat. Before long I got into a groove. The PT videoed me at the slower strike per minute and then to the beat and showed me the difference, slight difference but over the course of miles and mile of training it will make a huge difference in not getting hurt.
Also added more glute and abductor exercises to the mix. Left feeling pretty worked over.
Did yoga later in the afternoon. More of a stretching type which was needed! |
