AM 6 miles Liberty Park
afternoon 7 miles with East High Track team from the track to zoo trailhead, then to red Butte across legacy bridge and back down to the track through campus. Very windy.
Oval closed this week so ran tonight 8 miles on the treadmill at the gym and finished with stretching and weights. I did the same thing last night so I was a little sore in some spots. I have decided to add weights to my routine and see if the blood flow will work out my problem with piriformis, hamstring, siatic nerve. The leg buckles under me some things in stride. Or it can go numb. I just don't have the lift or push off I need to run fast. I have been seeing a chiropractor weekly, got some accupunture, have regular massages and nothing makes it go away. Not even the anti-inflammatory meds. So now I will try lifting and stretching to see what it does. |
