I hear Just Cuz is in October now. Not sure if I like that or not. Looks like you've been plugging in the miles!

What's up Barry? I've been off the blog a while and just noticed you were down for an injury. I highly recommend PT and weight workouts for injuries.

Bob,
Thank you for the comment. I have been having issues with my sciatic nerve, again. I just signed up for insurance yesterday. So next month it will kick in and i will be able to see a PT. Have you had any issues with your sciatic nerve?

Hi Barry,
About 2 years ago I got Piriformis Syndrome. This was a self diagnosis since I didn't see a doc. It was a real pain in the rump! And I was experiencing some tingling nerve issue down the leg while I had it. Running was out and even cycling caused discomfort. It was a total drag. I could tolerate walking and that's about it. So I started my own PT and slowly dug myself out of the injury hole. I found good old fashion barbell squats, deadlifts, and side leg lifts done while lying on the floor key to my recovery. Ease up the weight slowly, focus on proper form, squeezing the muscles. BTW, I should have been a PT but chose the wrong career ladder! You'll be back at running in 3-4 weeks. God Bless.
