Do you have any rotational imbalance in the hips? Leg length discrepancy?

None that i know of? What do you suggest for Sciatic nerve pain? I was only able to run one mile today before it started hurting.

Sciatic is tricky business.. Your definitely doing the right thing by cutting back. Go easy on the stretches though as they can sometimes cause more harm than good. Helpful, but in MODERATION.. Anti-inflammatories may help but the biggest factor with this one is time unfortunately.. The thing is with sciatic nerve pain is that it may go on for a while and then bam! It's gone one day. Also Wharton stretching on You Tube has some useful techniques with a rubber resistance band etc. But again no instant magic switch on this one:(

If this doesn't clear you might want to talk to your family doc for suggestions or referral to a specialist maybe. Hope that helps some. Sorry to hear that this keeps coming back:(

Steve,

I am so sorry it has taken me so long to get back with you. Thank You very much for your help. I have one more question if you have time? Now what do i do? I am loosing my endurance and i am at a loss for what to do to keep in shape? I do not have a treadmill to try to keep running. I am at a loss and could use your help if you have time. Thank You very much!

Barry
