Went down to Moab for a weekend of trails, Jeeping, and a chance to spend a few days with Walter Brown's pacer group. For anyone who isn't familiar with pacers, these folks are seriously cool. For literally no return at all they nail pace times from 1:30 to 3:15 on a Half. They are some fit folks and I watched a ton of people profusely thanking them after the race. The more I see of these guys the more I believe they bring to the distance races.

I was going to pace the 1:30 but Walter found a guy last minute to do it so I just ran. I figured I could run at least 6 pace today for my first Tempo run since the marathon but just couldn't turn them over fast enough today. This was the windiest race I have ever ran too. Just a head down, gut it out morning. Really good races again by Josh and James.

Walter beat me simply because his frontal area is a third of mine.

Nice. You embrace life like only one other person I have ever known...and his name was Steve too! Maybe it is in the name!

Looking forward to running with you at Boston!

Thanks. Time to take a break I think. I'm dead.
