I have raised two running children, one competitive and one not.

I have learned to run in ice and snow and I don't complain.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Work towards a faster marathon by Spring 2012.

Get my 5K down to 21:30.

Place in my division at duathlon and triathlon.

Train for biathlon.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Joining Forrest Gump

Personal:

I'm a 52 year old mom of two ex homeschooled teenagers. They both think I'm nuts.

Off. Day off.  Off day.

OK, so it was supposed to be a day off, but it turned into a bike ride day.  SOoo windy!  And, in the end, quite rainy as well.  It was fun coming back against the headwind, up the hills.  Back barely in time to greet the dinner guests as they pulled into the driveway.  Luckily I was in my nice bike clothes!

Dark clouds are looming

from every side it seems:

how wet will we get?

You didn't miss much. Mr. Sno said, when I came home, "how was your shower?"

I didn't think you did that!

Wow you are really something to calling riding up hills into a head-wind fun.

You must be on good terms with those dinner guests, though I'm sure you look fabulous in your biking clothes.

Hills are my new biking challenge. They are SO MUCH harder to bike then run. Way to go!
