Ran 8 with Mary in her neighborhood. To echo out and back. Franklin loop. AP 8:36. Felt dizzy and lightheaded first half. Drank a lot after 3.6 miles and felt much better. We are not used to hot humid weather! What a contrast from the winter. Leaves are budding on trees. The world here has transformed into a bright, green, warm, colorful place!

| Ran Hickory Grove all the way to Target. Crossed Woodward and Telegraph. Almost got hit by a guy turninig right on Telegraph, got my adrenaline going. I don't think I'll do that course at same time of day again.
Love my new Garmin! I accdentally ended the run at .73 mi (ap 9:10). The last 3.47 was ap 7:55. Beautiful humid day:)

| Mary did the long run with me today since I'll be out of town on the weekend. It started out pouring rain. We were soaked, sloshing, and squeaking in our running shoes. Took a little break after 7.9, then the last 4 pretty speedy--under 8s.

| Arrived in Orlando at 10 am, checked in hotel and changed for a run. Ran along the resort brick path--not the best terrain, but the scenery was lovely. So happy to be on vacation!

| I call todays run the 'double-bob-dandilion-hop-overgrown-grassy-field-hill-repeat-playground-obstacle' workout.
Running with 2 wild boys makes things interesting. Im actually shocked that I got 6 miles in!
I did a warm up pushing the bob around my old neighborhood. I did 12 repeats of the Hickory Grove field/hill--having to do high knees over the dandilion field then tried to sprint up the hill. The distance per repeat was about .08. I didn't really track my time. Then I did a recovery loop around the playground, down the hill and back across the field.
Cooled down playing tag with the boys on the playground :)

| Did the tempo/pace run today. Neighbor hood loop/Walther out and back. Set my virtual pacer to 7:15 and it kept me on track--I averaged 7:17 for the 5 miles. Felt awesome today. Running at that pace with some good music creates a perfect storm, aka runners high. :)

| Out and back neighborhood route. Calves and achilles are tight and a little sore from yesterday. I finished the run just before the rain started coming down. Listened to my old nano ipod with music that hasn't been changed since 07. Trip down memory lane. Sure going to miss this green scenery.
