Went out for a short two mile run with one minute pickups at "perceived" 5k pace. Equal walking to jog rest period. Trying out an experiment by building speed first then slowly adding distance at a more aerobic pace. Sounds crazy I know.. I did this back in 2006 and it worked for me somehow. Then again I had a pretty good aerobic background even with time off from running. Race horses are not always meant to be on the track right?
