AM-Tinman tempo run before school with 4 miles at sub 6-6:15/mile pace. 6 miles total. 7th and 13th east out and back.

PM-Another 6 miles progressive after school in 36:15. 6:02/mi avg pace. 1% incline.   Form felt looser tonight for some reason.  SLCC treadmill.  I'm getting ever closer to where I want to be fitness wise, and it feels like I have a carrot always just ahead of me at every aid station.  But I'll take it if I can get into the top 5-10 places somewhere this year.   Darkhorse out.

AM-10 miles easy before school. 7:00/7:30 range.  TM.  Had some thoughts on the run that were bothering me today.  For some reason lately I seem perhaps overly bothered by the displays of backbiting and narcissistic behavior I see in some folks around me.  I'm to the point now where I have become kind of a recluse just to avoid the petty garbage.  But everywhere I look around me it's the same and always has been I suppose.  So my main thought on the run today is why am I so sensitive to it recently?

Remember to be kind everyone..  Darkhorse out.

PM-Easy 5 miles with some accelerations at the end.  TM.

AM-Went over to Sasha's for an easy run early this morning and felt like garbage for the most part unfortunately.  I was dizzy and just plain sick to my stomach this morning so I listened to my body and cut the run short.  A combination of being up all night studying, working graveyard shifts and just plain running too hard these past weeks I suppose.  I have this really bad habit of pushing the pace on my daily runs.  I'm worried it's going to do a number on my racing form and me if I don't reign it in and exercise more restraint.

It was more than worth it though to go out and to meet up, have some good conversation and just plain hang out together again.  Sasha tested me on my math and self pacing skills. I always seem to amaze him how on how accurate I can get on guessing our pace at any given time.  My math however is something different..  Sasha on the other hand amazes me on his ability to calculate mathematical formulas in his head while on the run!   And then there is Jeff, barely breathing at 7/min pace!   He's just chatting along with us like it's nothing as we go.  I think Jeff McClellan is going to be a pretty tough runner this year for sure.  Anyway, I'm feeling pretty heavy and tired now so after General Conference I think I'll turn in and get some zzs finally.   Happy Easter everyone!   Darkhorse out..

PM-5 miles easy jogging.
