The course was 2.5 laps around sugar house park. My first mile was a 6:01, It felt good. 2nd was a little harder I ran a 6:12. 3rd a 6:08. And the last quarter mile I ran 91seconds. It was a hard race. But I did much better pacing myself throughout the race rather than dropping 40 seconds.

I've done that race a few times. I'll bet it was 3.25 because of all the walkers you had to zig-zag around the last lap.

Good running Ashton.

Haha yep that's probably right. I didn't think about that.

Good run Ashton. I did that race last year. It was definitely a good 3.25 miles. And also a tougher course than Draper Days, so I'd say an improvement over the last couple weeks for sure.

Ashton you are awesome and it was nice to meet you! Thanks so much for pushing me Saturday. Are you sure your time is right? I got 19:48 (on my garmin) and I think you were at least 5 seconds ahead of me.

Also just read about your liver transplant. Wow that is incredible. Keep up the hard work and consistent training and good luck this season.

Thank you! I may have stopped my Garmin late. There wasn't really much of an official time. So maybe I was 19:45?

Yeah Ahston I think you must have stopped your garmin late because I think my time is fairly accurate. I bet your last 400 was more like 85-86. You definitely did not lose 6 seconds on me there.
