Got a little later start than I planned and knew the heat could potentially be an issue.  My plan was to enjoy a Garminless 17 miler.  Didn't care what the pace was.  Just wanted to get in some miles.  First 2 miles to the LPT were a bit clunky but then was able run a little smoother once I hit the trail.  As I hit the turn around point and the wind was no longer blowing into my face, I realized how warm it was.  Got to mile 11 and realized how thirsty I was and took my last swig of Gatorade.  Got to 15 and felt fine so decided if I could make it 1.5 miles more to the park with the water fountain, I could get to 19 for the day.  Actually felt good for much of the run.  Not sure what kind of person puts in a 19 mile run with no race on the horizon.

Nice long run alone, and Garmin-less!
