Really not feeling it right now.  My legs are not moving the way they should be.  Feel like I may need new shoes but there are not that many miles on them.  Will probably get another couple of miles tonight with Gracie.

Two easy miles after work with Emma and Gracie.  Fun to get out with them and see how much they are enjoying it.

Don't beat yourself up Andy. Take a few days off and just get back to the "enjoyment". Once you are enjoying the action of running the speed will come.

Are you running UVM?

From Andy on Wed, May 09, 2012 at 10:32:05 from 159.212.71.25

I'm not going to run UVM. I want to get a little better prepared before I tackle another marathon. I have this fear of what will happen to me mentally if I have another bad marathon performance.

I think that is a good call Andy. You are fast and very talented and it will come back. If it's any consolation I have a lot of faith in your ability.

I have seen you smoke past me at several races!!

Nothing to complain about when you get in 10 miles in a day. Good job Andy.

How are you feeling today? I love the visual of you running with your girls! :)

(Fyi: it may be the placebo effect but I often like to shock my legs with contrast baths when they feel dead, heavy, weak, etc. I fill two bathtubs: one with ice water and the other with very warm water. I do a 4:1 ratios since there has been some positive research for those numbers regarding inflammation. I.e., 4 minutes in the warm bath, scurry over to the ice bath and do 1 minute there for a total of 20 minutes (so 4 rounds). It's just an idea. :))
