This was a PR for me, so I'm happy with how it turned out. I was so close to breaking 19 minutes I wish I would've realized that sooner in the race and went for it. I tried not to look at my watch during the race and just go after it. I was shocked at the pollution out there, it did not do wonders for my lungs. 5Ks just feel fast to me now and are over so quickly. I enjoyed the flatness of the course though. I wish I knew my exact splits but my watch is on the fritz right now and I need to get it figured out so I can retrieve my race results. But overall happy with how my race ended and there was a lot of fast competition in both the mens and womens races. Happy for Riley who won!

Great race Amy! I'm so proud of you. You've made huge strides lately and I'm excited to see how fast you can get. Thanks for always supporting my running as well!

Great race. A 5K is such a hard race to gauge pace. So we didn't break 19 but we'll break 40 minutes for the 10K!

Awesome job!! I think the best way to race is to not pay attention to your watch. Run totally off feel:)

Looks like another great race! Wish I were there to start training with you.
