Short-Term Running Goals:

Our family is complete with 4 sweet girls. Now it's time for me to shed the weight and get back into running shape for good. I'm ready to work at it again in 2017!

Long-term running goals, Sub 3 hour marathon and 1:20 half marathon. 

Personal:

I'm married to my great husband Riley Cook. He helps me accomplish my running goals. We have 4 daughters Evelyn, Hannah, Nora, and Iris I'm also excited to be running for Utahrunning.com.

Russian champion tries Crocs, commits to racing a marathon in them

Nikolay Chavkin in the video below did 3x1000, first two in Adidas carbon-fiber models, the last one in Crocs. Surprised by the result (2:52, 2:52, 2:50) with the fastest interval done in Crocs, he committed to racing a marathon in Crocs if the video gets 42K likes and 195 comments (for 42 km 195 m, the marathon distance). Nikolay's current marathon PR is 2:14:00. The video was created by a Russian sporting goods store chain. Their moto is "more sports - brighter life", which we think is wonderful, and also deserves a Like. If you want to see a fast marathon in Crocs, go to the video and click the Like button. A new year and a new baby. I'm 4 weeks post pardum this week and decided to start working out a little bit. Once again, I have a long way to go with running and weight loss. It's the same story after I have my babies. However, this will be the last time I will be coming back from having a baby, Riley and I decided our family was complete with this new little addition. I've started my New Year off right with eating healthy and exercising on the treadmill. Once I hit 6 weeks post pardum I'll run more and probably most days.
