It is official, I can start running again. But I have lots of rules... For the next week I can only run 2 X 5 minutes every other day on the treadmill. I need to stick to the rules and not go ape crazy so as not to have a repeat of what happened in March.

I am not exactly happy with the level of pain I still have, but at this point I have to be healed and just probably have a bunch of scar tissue that needs to get broken up. I can elliptical and bike as much as I want though with pain as my guide.

AM: RUNNING and PT

PM: Mellow ride on the Legacy to loosen up the legs after the BIG run this morning followed by pizza at Este to celebrate!!!

Your mileage has already gone up 1300% this week. I KNEW the "10% rule" was BS!

that is great news!

Ha! Seeing as I started with a 0.1 mile week, if I followed the 10% rule it would take me around 3 years to get up to 10 miles a week. So say you start with zero running, according to the 10% rule you would never run ever.

Nice.. although you could always take up boxing...
