How come every time I get overly psyched on my recovery something stupid happens? My non-op-hip started to swell out of control last night and turn bright red and welt up. I am thinking it is some sort of delayed reaction to the steroid treatments I got last week. It hurts like he!! and it is freaking me out!

PM: Bike, 3x5 minutes of running, & usual hip routine

Seems to be the worst part of recovery, the "one step back" that always seems to come just when you think you are through it. Hope its forward progress again soon.
