I had a fun time running this race. I decided I like 10k's better than 5k's. My splits were 1, 10:00/2, 11:15/3,10:46/4,11:08/5,11:44/6,10:55. I got under the time that I wanted, so that was good. Dave came back and ran with me from about 4.5 to the finish. That helped alot (mostly because I couldn't walk as much as I wanted to!) I felt really good, and the new songs I added to my ipod sure did help. I really liked the aid stations. The only way those could have been better is if they had a Diet Coke for me! |
