27.4 km in 2:36:00 on the road. 1:18 something there which means I ran a negative split on the way back. It rained heavily all of the way which definitely made it a whole lot cooler but my shoes weighed a ton! I've had a shower and a couple of panadol and feel great now :) I really need to get more of these long runs under my belt!!

I felt terrible when I woke up this morning - putting it down to hay-fever. Decided to do some speed work when I started running as I felt like I wanted to get the run over and done with in as little time as possible. It turned out to be a great run although it was very very hot. Tomorrow 10 miles and christmas food shopping.

6.3 km in 37:51 on treadmill

then 10 km in 53:31 on road. 27:37 there and 26:04 back. Ran wearing skins for the first time and didn't like them one bit! I found them really itchy (probably due to my hairy legs) and they just didn't feel right. Good thing to know for the marathon in Tokyo but if it's going to be as cold as this year I may have to reconsider. Shave my legs perhaps??
