Since this was my first run over 10 miles in a long time, I went real slow, not worrying about the pace. It was the middle of the day and hot. Felt good throughout.

My treadmill is definitely not calibrated right!!! So I'm running faster and doing more distance on the treadmill than I thought which can't be a bad thing. Especially now that the Ashes are on!

16.9 km in 1:40:29 on road. Slow. It was bloody hot, right in the middle of the day. I had to get out and do it though since I missed my big run yesterday. The step up to 50 miles last week took it out of me. This week I'll aim for around 40 miles with a bit of speed work, then step it up again next week back to 50. 

 No pain no gain!

It was good to get the 14 miles done but I would've liked to have done it in one hit. It's been raining torrentially all day and I couldn't get outside. The treadmill is great to have but it's so boring for long runs. Good start to the week though!

It rained heavily all of the way which definitely made it a whole lot cooler but my shoes weighed a ton! I've had a shower and a couple of panadol and feel great now :) I really need to get more of these long runs under my belt!!

I felt terrible when I woke up this morning - putting it down to hay-fever. Decided to do some speed work when I started running as I felt like I wanted to get the run over and done with in as little time as possible. It turned out to be a great run although it was very very hot. Tomorrow 10 miles and christmas food shopping.

then 10 km in 53:31 on road. 27:37 there and 26:04 back. Ran wearing skins for the first time and didn't like them one bit! I found them really itchy (probably due to my hairy legs) and they just didn't feel right. Good thing to know for the marathon in Tokyo but if it's going to be as cold as this year I may have to reconsider. Shave my legs perhaps??

12.9 km in 1:13:20 on road. First run in 3 days and first since the xmas - jesus i felt shite! It was 92% humidity and 25 degrees...no wonder why I felt like I was running in a Sauna! I missed my 12 mile run yesterday so I feel rather dirty. I'll have to make up for it with 4 more runs this week, rest Saturday then a 19 mile Sunday. Giddyup!
