No running this morning.  I went to work real early this morning so that I can leave for Idaho Falls by 4pm to take my daughter to her tournament soccer game.  Maybe I'll run a couple miles while she's warming up for the game up there.  But I did tell myself that I need to take a day off, but it's real hard to take a day off.

I think I have issues with being an addictvie runner where I feel I have to do it everyday or I'll lose my fitness.   I think about how much I'm going to run each day and it does cosume my thoughts a lot.  But I want that last big push for a good marathon to end this year and will see what I decide to do after that.

I am planning on doing the half-marathon on Nov 1st as well. I am looking for one more marathon this year either in late Nov or early Dec.

Bill -

Barry the guy I ran with once in a while is going to try a 1:30 in the half marathon. Maybe you could help pace him. There's the California Interntational Marathon in December 7th, and the P.F Change Rockin Roll Arizona Marathon January 18th. I'm going to do one of these.

Thanks Kory, I needed the inspiration. As to your thoughts of being an addictive runner, I would be as bold to say yes you probably are. But in the same breath, Ask yourself this; Is it interfereing with other areas of my life including my family? If yes, then perhaps it needs to be re-evaluated. If not, well then I say take the long way home. Happy trails!

I looked at that one possible too. But I was thinking I wanted to get more speed work training in before doing one so soon again. I know you will do well.
