Ran my final long run before next weeks marathon. 13.02 in 6:29 in 1:24. The first few miles were down hill, and I ran a little faster than I was planning on, but that's okay, good confidence builder. I ran a 5 mile tempo in the middle of the long run (6:01, 5:58, 6:11, 6:07, and 6:10). I also did a 500ft hill that was over a 1 mile in this run.. I was trying to get a combination of down and up hill. The run felt good with little effort. Now it's time to reserve a Hotel in Rexburg. Thanks Ted for your previous comments. I feel ready. |
