Sorry to hear the news Kory :(. Stay positive. Some time off isn't a bad thing remember?! I'll pray for you. Hope your foot feels better.

Kory, sorry to learn about the troubles you've had lately. Seems as though your body is trying to tell you something! My two cents worth is to suggest that you take a two-week break from running now to end the year. I think you will find it a relief to make that decision. Just reward yourself for the excellent year you've had and allow your body to rebuild itself. You won't lose a lot of fitness in 14 days. Yes, the first few runs will feel odd but within 4-5 days you'll be doing fine. Good luck!

Sorry to hear about the heal. I told Jon that at least it is the start of winter and not spring... My prayers to a speedy recovery.

Barry - Thanks for your prayers.

Benn - It's not that bad. I needed a break anyway and I'll be back soon. It exactly doesn't really hurt this afternoon.

JohnK - Rest is the key. I'll take tomorrow and probably Friday and then see what Saturday brings.

Adam RW - Thanks for your prayers, and I'm praying for you as well. I really don't feel down, but confident I'll be back on my feet soon. I needed a break anyway, because running was becoming something else but fun. Got to have a good attitude.
