This morning I did my standard Satterfield Hill loop 10.5 miles at an overall 6:53 pace in 1:12. I was very tired today. I stayed up late Friday night working till 1:15am at work, then came home and ran on the Treadmill till 3am. I slept the next morning till about 9:30am I just couldn't sleep any longer. Saturday Night my wife and I went to Chili's with my two brothers, because it was one of my brother's wife's birthday. We left Chili's after 10:30pm and then went and played laser tag till midnight which was a blast. We got home around 12:30am and went to bed at 1am.

Sunday, I did take about a 2 hour nap, and Sunday night I was in bed before 10pm and slept till almost 6:30 this morning. I think the weekend and work just zapped all the energy out of me today. The run wasn't bad I really felt tired before and after the run, but not during the run. My last five splits were 6:20, 6:19, 6:13, 6:14 and the last mile at 6:38.

I'll try to run on my lunch hour at home today.

Lunch:

Home treadmill today and I watched NFL's greatest playoff games between Broncos vs Browns.  I'm a big football junkie, and know about every statistic, and every player there is .  I love watching football and playing for fun now.  In school I played football rather than going out for track, because I didn't have a interest in running then.  Anytime there's a football related program on I will watch it, a good break from my computer interests.

I got home late on my lunch hour and didn't have as much time as usual.  I picked the pace up in the beginning running the first mile in 6:45, and the next in 6:20 and the next in 6:00.  Followed that up with a 5:42, and the last mile around 6:45.  5.3 miles in 34:06.  Good run and it felt a little difficult running faster, because I really haven't done a lot of that lately.

I haven't played laser tag since high school, but I keep trying to convince Paul that it would be a really fun activity. Maybe you can nudge him in my direction. Nice workout today.

Stacy: You'll have to get Paul to play it's really fun. The one we played in has two levels and is a very big arena in my home town. You can play on teams or against each other. Also it's very good exercise.
