Ran 10.22 miles at an overall 6:43 pace in 1:08.  I was in a hurry this morning because I got up late and had an early meeting.  This meeting is earlier than I usually come in to work.  I did get 7 hours of sleep which felt so good.  Did the Olympus Rd hill loop.  This road is right before the turn off to Satterfield Rd.  The Olympus Rd  is a shorter hill than Satterfield Rd  but it's a little steep.  We got quite a bit of rain last night, and we really needed it.

After I did a few warm-up miles I did some faster miles, but not too fast.  I was trying to get home to get ready for work  (6:32, 6:13, 6:11, 6:38, 6:37, 6:42, 6:09).  Then I rode my bike to work.

(Sacony Grid Triigon 4  - 599 miles)  Probably about time to retire these wonderful shoes.

Lunch:

Was able to run on my lunch hour again today, wasn't needed to fill in at the daycare.  The temperature was 85 degrees but with the humidity at 29%.   I ran 8.6 miles at an overall 7:05 pace in exactly 1:00.  I was just running by time today.  I wanted to get an hour of running in.  It's nice to get the second run done at lunch, because I don't have to rush after work to do the second run.

On my break earlier today I did 200 sit-ups and 100 push-ups.  I will also ride my bike home from work.

(Avia Lites Pair # 3  -  563.5 miles)  Getting close to retire these shoes too.

Had to run to Walgreens to get my Wife's bike out of the trunk of the car.  It was only .4 away.   I jogged at a 7:46 pace... I wanted to see how far away it was with my garmin.  We had Armadillo Tires put on and a tune-up done on her brand new bike.  The tune-up is free and you have 30 days to use it from the time you purchase a bike.

Hey Kory. How's the new bike you got treating you? You doing any long rides on it yet? :) Biking is truly an amazing thing.

Commando - The longest ride I've done so far is 13 miles on a sprint triathlon course that I will be doing August 9th.

I really do enjoy the bike riding. What type of bike do you have?
