Here's a photo in the Idaho State journal Advertising our sponsored shirt.  Although I'm bummed that they didn't mention anything about our fastrunningblog.com web site.  I mentioned several times that this is the place where I got my marathon training breakthru.

Ran the dog this morning 5.21 miles at an overall 8:23 pace in 43:40.  Quads were sore after the marathon today.  That's good, because that means I was aggressive and worked hard yesterday.  I also road my bike about 5 miles after the marathon yesterday to loosen up the legs.  I'm going to ride it to church this morning as well.  My whole family is sick but me.

Cool! Front page coverage, looks like we have a local celebrity on the blog! You deserve it. Hope the recovery goes well.

Kory, that was great to see your picture covering 3/4 of the front page of sunday mornings paper. Wow twice in one week. You are becoming quite the celebrity. Good luck with recovery. Are you doing TOU again?

From wheakory on Mon, Sep 01, 2008 at 13:43:38

Thanks Dave. I'll I can say is God is good and it's very humbling.

I don't know about TOU... I've ran it to last two years after the Pocatello Marathon, but I might just recovery and run one in October. Which could be St. George or Boise, City of the Trees Marathon.

What do you think?

From Dave S on Mon, Sep 01, 2008 at 17:28:42

A good recovery would probably help you do better at St george. But then again Paul and Logan ran Tou last year as a training run and took it easy, then went down and smoked St George.

Kory, congrats on a great race! It was nice meeting you on Saturday.
