Got 8 hours of sleep last night.  My stomach is feeling a little better today, some rumbling and discomfort inside, but at this point I can't focus and worry about that.

I ran 3.5 miles up and 3.5 miles down going up Satterfield Rd.  Very easy run just focusing on good easy control.  Totals 7.12 miles at an overall 7:28 pace in 53.15 minutes .

I formed rolled last night to loosen up the legs, and I 'm also getting a deep massage tonight.  I hope this doesn't make me sore for a couple of days, but it will get the blood loosened up in any of the tight muscle.  This race is going to be fun!!!!!!!!

(Saucony Grid Trigon 4  -  645 miles)  These shoes are still going thanks to Jeff Shadley's advice to purchase them.  Thanks Jeff they've been awesome shoes.

I really like the Sacuony shoes and would like to get a racing flat lighter than my Sacucony Tangent 3 shoes

Lunches - Evening

500 sit-ups and 200 push-ups  Cancelled deep massage didn't want to do it two days before a marathon and end up feeling sore on Saturday.

Looking good. See you on Friday!

Kory - you sir, are without a doubt.. a beast! You are a machine with the situps/pushups! I might have to hire you as a bodyguard! Enjoy your weekend. You earned it! Can't wait for the report.

Thanks Adam and Benn - it will be interesting to see what I do since I really didn't taper, because I didn't know that I was going to run SGM until late last week. My family is so important to me that I don't like to miss their events. I will miss my daughter's soccer game and my sons tee ball game. But I'm excited that my 12 year old daughter is going with me to St. George. It makes me want to cry, because this is something me and her can cherish. She will make me want to run hard knowing she will be at the finish line waiting for me.

I'm going to have fun and be confident.

Kory, I think running for your daughter will make you smoke the course all that more. The Provo Half I ran for my mom and PRed by ~3min, for you daughter I think you can squeeze off 6:19 more minutes!!! :)...

Yeah I'm so excited that my daughters coming it's something we both will remember.

I'm going to try and run well, my stomach feels better. Like you told me before the Pocatello Marathon you have to go in knowing you are confident, and that comment you made has really stuck with me.

I need to get some carbs in my body the next two days, because my weights down to 137, mostly likely because of the stomach issues causing me to not want to eat as much. I will eat about every two hours with high carbs and low fat (oats, beard, honey, rice granola bars, bagels) to try and store the carbs.

Adam thanks for your advice and confidence booster it will be great to see you and I know in the heat of competition you will run well. Before the race you ought to try and rub some MYO MED on your need. If you don't have some I've got some you can use and I will by more at the expo.

OOPS sorry Adam I meant knee instead of "need"

Thanks for the offer Kory. I was thinking about buying some more as well. I'm currently out but that stuff does work wonders.
