Got 7 hours of sleep last night so that was better than the previous nights, and didn't feel as tired waking up. Ran in a very hard rain in cold weather (30 degrees) in a stiff wind. By the time I was done my hands were cold, and I was completely soaked from head to toe. Even though it was raining I was patience in my pace. The only way I'm going to be become a better runner is to be patience and relaxed in some of my training runs. I ran 8.2 miles at a overall 7:25 pace in 1:01. I've already drank a 20oz mug of coffee to try to warm-up. I wore my tights, gloves, knitted hat and it felt like winter again. Were suppose to have continuous rain for the whole rest of the week and weekend. Knee I still felt something there which I probably need to ice it. It's amazing how I didn't feel the knee in the marathon last Saturday, but feel it now on the last couple training runs. It's not bad it's just there. (Saucony Grid Triigon 4 - 487 miles) |
