I got up in some good speed work late this afternoon, and despite the 90 degree heat, I felt like it was exactly what I needed to recharge my batteries. Today's workout included the following: 3 Miles at 6:35/mile; 4X400m at 79, 76, 79, and 79 seconds respectively; 3X800m at 2:46, 2:55, and 2:56 respectively; and 800m easy jog to cool down. Including 200m walk/jog after each quarter, and 400m walk/jog between 800's, I ran 7 total miles. Wesley |
