Personal:

Pride necessarily sprouts and grows; a pride that can only come from relentless kneading of unwilling flesh, painful months of grinding and burning away all that is heavy, all that is strength-sapping and useless to the body as a projectile. --John L. Parker, Jr., runner/author

Wow, you've taken mill running to a level I've never seen. You watch TV or listen to music?

The TVs in our small, Company gym are set to ABC, ESPNU, and CNN...I try to time my runs with "The Herd", which airs locally from 9am-12pm on ESPNU, and periodically switch over to pop or classic rock radio (local stations). I like the "double shot" lunch on our local classic rock station from 12pm-1pm (back-to-back songs by same artists). In the afternoons, I switch between CNN and radio.

It's a Matrix TM. I like it a lot.

Yeah, got to have multiple options when you go for that long. Great job!
