| Enjoyed the Malvern Brickfest 5K with my Dad this morning. I finished 1st overall and my Dad, Mark, won his age group (60-69) in 24:08.
I've not done enough speed training recently to run a fast 5K, nor am I near race weight, but I managed 5:35 on the first mile to separate myself from two teenage runners and coast to a victory in my parents' hometown...where the high school fieldhouse is named after my grandfather, Bill Hunt.
3 hot and sweaty miles with the kids on our trails when we got home.
