Met with the famous BBK runners this morning at 5:15 and did a 3 mile warm up. Then another mile on the track with 4x100 sprints and then did 4x800s. 2:26, 2:32,2:35,2:32. Then had to go to work.  I could tell I was excited to do these 800s from my first one.  I hope to be able to bust out a 2:26 marathon! Sweet! As per Yassos method. But I could see my average for 4 is 2:31. So Ive got more work to do. Fun to see those Butt Kickers! Its been a while!

Went to Liberty park and did 8 more miles. 1.5 warmup then 2x800s (2:32, 2:36) then did progressive running afterwards. I did my 3rd loop in 7:50 and my 5th loop in 6:34 pace. Very hot out but glad I got it in. Tons of runners in the park today! And the water fountain saved my butt!

You were at the BBK's today? I slept in! I have tried to make it a point of going since St. George is coming.

Great miles Walter. Same speed... just plain FAST!

Nice job on those 800's Walter. It was nice having someone to chase for a little.

I was wondering which Chad that was in the dark this morning! You need to get on the email list my friend! I'll forward the Thursday's workout and meeting place to you if you'd like. It's good to have some more guys there! This group is great and helps me get outbid bed.

Chad are you two timing Sasha with the BBKers?

From Chad Robinson on Wed, Aug 17, 2011 at 18:12:38 from 67.136.62.186

I aint no two-timmin'-fool. Sasha is my two Saturdays a month date. The BBK's get to have my Thursdays. We never said we were exclusive anyways.
