It was a scorcher today.  I waited till dark and then went out.  It wasn't too bad by then.

We are in the process of getting new floors in 3 rooms, the upstairs hallway and the stairs.  The two rooms downstairs are done and they look gorgeous!!!  I can't wait till it's all finished so we can go back to normal.

We're under a heat advisory, but are supposed to get a cold(er) front moving through Sunday or Monday.  I ran when the sun went down.

Ran 4 by myself and then .35 slower with my kids and my nephew.

This has been a busy week of getting my classroom ready, working on some projects, and living out of 2 rooms because the floors in our house are not quite done yet.  Our guy had the wrong transition pieces, so he finished what he could until they come in today (which is now Friday by the time I'm actually logging this run).  Life is almost back to normal!

Waited till it was getting dark to run again.  It was a hot one.

Ran with the kids .43 miles to my ex-SIL's (this was very slow).  Then I ran a little over 3 on my own.  About a mile into the run as a whole, I looked to the west and noticed some ominous clouds.  The temperature dropped and the wind picked up.  I just decided that I would keep running, but if I saw lightning, I planned to seek some refuge.  It started raining a couple minutes later.

When I ran up to the ex-SIL's house, the kids were outside watching the storm roll in.  Turns out they were worried, just a little bit.  We visited awhile till the rain subsided, then ran slowly back home (by that time it was 9:30).
