Having a hard time keeping up with blogging!

Just a few things:  Our boys took 4th in sectionals, so will make an appearance in the state meet as a team.  I'm ecstatic for them.  One of the boys told me that one kid from a nearby high school (top runner there, much hubris) told our top three boys last week that the only way that they would be running at state would be as individuals.  The team took their anger and beat their team for the first time ever.  Too bad their team was #5, so they get to state too.

I also learned an interesting thing yesterday.  Last Thursday and Friday during parent/teacher conferences, I was in searing gas pain land.  Didn't know why.  Forgot about it over the weekend because I felt fine.  Then searing gas pain yesterday too.  Finally figured it out:  I bought some sugar-free candy on Thursday and was eating it Thursday, Friday and yesterday.  I didn't think I had too much, but the package CLEARLY says that too much has a laxative effect.

No more sugar-free candy!

OMG! I never would have thought of that! I hope you are feeling better!

And great job! Glad your boys turned their anger into something wonderful!

Congratulations to your boys!

I'm not keeping up with blogging either. And I think that sugar-free is not worth it. I'm a little wary of the artificial-ness of it.

Good to see the miles still coming in! I had a similar experience but with a bag of "low fat" potato chips made with OLean. I thought there was something weird about them, but still ate the whole huge bag. oops.

Glad the old XC team did well.
