I wanted to do some faster portions today and I decided that I didn't want to do it out of the subdivision because the cars go too fast around some of the curves. Around the subdivision is just over a mile, so I just did some spins around it. I warmed up 5 minutes and then did 3 min fast with 3 min recovery. I think I did the faster pace 7 times because I ended on a fast(er) section. It was very warm so I stopped to hydrate after mile 2 and mile 4. Then when I finished, I put on my bathing suit and walked 1/2 mile to the beach. Don't get jealous, though. This "beach" is nothing too exciting. Just a little plot of sand off a tiny lake. I waded around in the water with the kids.
