This was my first run with an average of under 9 minutes in a long time.  It felt easy.  Though I started with a first mile at 9:24, my last mile was 8:26.

Today I also took Caleb roller skating for the first time.  It did not go well.  I learned that I do not have the patience to teach him any physical skill back when he was learning to ride his bike.  Something about our personalities doesn't mesh well in that way.  I get frustrated and he gets pouty, which elevates my frustration levels, which makes him pout more.  I should have remembered that and had Chuck take him skating.

Awesome job on the sub 9's. Wish I could do that.

Nice going on the run.

We had the same experience teaching our oldest on the bike! She eventually just taught herself.

It won't be long, Burt.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one, Joe. I try to hide it, but I eventually start getting angry after saying the same thing over and over when Caleb shuts down and won't listen. Kids. They think they know everything!
