| These were all treadmill miles. We got a little more snow overnight and some flurries in the morning. Since the plows don't go out till it's done snowing, I stayed inside. Oh, the agony. I was really thirsty, too. I stopped a couple times to drink and tell Pandora which songs I liked so that it wouldn't stop playing me some tunes.

| Treadmill again, though it was a beautiful day outside. Chuck had to supervise a basketball game... Busy week. Probably need to run a few mornings this week. We'll see if that happens :)

| A sort of ladder on the treadmil. .25 at 6.3, .5 at 6.4, .25 at 6.3, .5 at 6.5, .25 at 6.4, etc. For the last mile I increased speed every .25 up to 7.0. A little "speed" is a lot easier these days than it was even a month ago. I know that is because of the blogging--it helps me to stay in the running habit.
I have realistic expectations for the half that I am doing. Even though it's not till late April, my goal is probably around 1:50, though I believe it'll probably a little over that. I do not have any plans to train hard for it. Maybe next year. For now, I just want to put in comfortable miles without too much hard work.

| Ran even though I didn't feel like it. Glad I did. This was always the trend in the fall. Come Thursday, I would always get off track. I am happy I didn't fall into that this week. |

| This was my first run with an average of under 9 minutes in a long time. It felt easy. Though I started with a first mile at 9:24, my last mile was 8:26. Today I also took Caleb roller skating for the first time. It did not go well. I learned that I do not have the patience to teach him any physical skill back when he was learning to ride his bike. Something about our personalities doesn't mesh well in that way. I get frustrated and he gets pouty, which elevates my frustration levels, which makes him pout more. I should have remembered that and had Chuck take him skating.
