Congrats on the big mileage. You are currently 2nd on the mileage board! All your parts still working and happy after all that running?

From Tom Slick on Sat, Jan 29, 2011 at 16:17:22 from 69.171.160.49

Fly - even after 80+ miles this week and 293 miles for the month so far, I really feel pretty darn good. All the parts are functioning very well and without any pain. I tell ya, when I hit the rack at night, I am out like a light and I sleep like a rock till the music starts playing in the morning.

I did notice that I was a bit slower at the beginning of my runs later in the week, but I could pick up the pace through the middle and end of the runs.

AWESOME mileage! CONGRATZ on successfully running that huge mileage week! You know all the little things you need to do for recovery, right? Don't make the stupid mistakes I did when I ramped up my mileage last month. Stay strong and healthy!

Smooth - Yes I do Ms. Smooth. But I'm always open for constructive criticism and helpful hints! First thing I do after every run is down a big glass of chocolate full strength milk........then I go looking for some place to rest and re-cooperate.

Sounds like you are doing it right Mr. Slick. Keep it up and be careful! Don't put down any new flooring!

Way to go, Slick! You are a freak of nature..I mean that in a good way! :)

Fly - the (L) knee that was operated on in 2008 is really a success story. It is as smooth or smoother in operation than it has ever been. It's not even thought when I take off for a run, it's that good! But I do take precautions not to repeat the past........

Hey NoLegalMoves - Good to see you here on the FRB - Welcome!

MArcE - Now let's see if I can translate this "Freakness" into performance in the very close at hand future.....

TimP - Thanks
