Short-Term Running Goals:

2024 GOALS:

to not get fat

Long-Term Running Goals:

Continue running as often as I can, as far as I can, as fast as I can. Teaching my kids (by example) the rewards that come from putting in the work. Very slowly get to 50 states.

Personal:

I'm married, with two sons, 18, and 19.

I started running because someone dared me to.

I ran my first race 3 days after my 40th birthday. (Disney)

7.5 miles. hood route. 5:45 am start. 200 m of "sprint" in the middle somewhere. I ran in old shoes to try something different. 70 deg., 94% hum.,, 68 d.p. No air movement of any kind. Running in a winter wonderland.

I found a golf ball and vice grips this morning. They were not in the same location. But if you saw someone running with a golf ball and needle nose vice grips, you would assume... ....

Pretty sure it's related to the pregnancy test.

All very good answers. Joe, that ept box - was it discarded from a moving car?, as in, I can't wait until I get home to know. And if so, was she driving or in the passenger seat? Like I said, I put some thought into that backstory. It's like the time i found a wheelchair padlocked to a sign. I lost hours coming up with theories. I should have gone into forensics.

The crazy thing is that your not the first person to ask these questions.

Wow. That's kind of strange.

Also, bring back santa cow!

From SlowJoe on Wed, Dec 02, 2015 at 14:35:05 from 107.77.66.86

Totally agree about Santa cow. Is there any being (real or imaginary) that carries more weight?

From Tom K on Wed, Dec 02, 2015 at 14:47:41 from 66.87.123.73

Wait, literally carries more weight? Or figuratively? ...nevermind, same answer. No.

From SlowJoe on Wed, Dec 02, 2015 at 14:50:06 from 107.77.66.86

Whichever comes with some kind of buffet is most important.

From Tom K on Wed, Dec 02, 2015 at 14:55:55 from 66.87.123.73

I feel that some of this may be construed as off-topic.

It's best to focus on what we can control. Psychotic gun nuts that might shoot up a Luby's. Help us Obama! I wanna move to Sweden.

From Tom K on Wed, Dec 02, 2015 at 15:27:25 from 66.87.123.73

Sweeden seems a bit chilly. I'm going to st. Maarten.
