Short-Term Running Goals:

2024 GOALS:

to not get fat

Long-Term Running Goals:

Continue running as often as I can, as far as I can, as fast as I can. Teaching my kids (by example) the rewards that come from putting in the work. Very slowly get to 50 states.

Personal:

I'm married, with two sons, 18, and 19.

I started running because someone dared me to.

I ran my first race 3 days after my 40th birthday. (Disney)

Are the days that I see 4.6/5.2/5.8 triples?

From I Just Run on Mon, Jan 27, 2014 at 09:42:39 from 67.79.11.242

TMI... I lost interest after the first Monday...sorry, I'll have to follow it day by day. :-)

From Tom K on Mon, Jan 27, 2014 at 13:52:49 from 174.58.4.250

D, no, but that's funny! Those are mileage options. My M, W, and Th have goofy schedules, and I don't know what I'll be able to squeeze in.

IJR, I know, it ain't that pretty. This is just me forcing an issue with the "Develop a training schedule for something" part of my short term goals. I don't have target heart rates, or paces. For now, scheduling miles is enough.

From Matt Schreiber on Mon, Jan 27, 2014 at 22:29:05 from 66.17.102.185

I like it Tom. No I didn't read them all yet. ;) Looks like a solid plan based on the mileage. Also looks like you have a fair amount of 20 milers. Something I'll need to do. Thanks for the reminder.

From flatlander on Fri, Jan 31, 2014 at 20:49:31 from 76.31.9.237

This is impressive. I'll read it as soon as I finish reading the Obamacare bill.

From I Just Run on Fri, Jan 31, 2014 at 21:42:14 from 166.137.119.15

Ha ha ... now that's funny Flat!

From Tom K on Mon, Feb 03, 2014 at 07:51:16 from 174.58.4.250

I'll have to run the schedule, so you'll know what's in it!

Funniest thing I've read here, Flat!
