But the problem is that many runners forget all of the steps between the first one and the goal.  If your goal is to run under two hours for the half marathon then you need to be honest about all of the little steps to get to that goal.

Ran the farm loop today - one of my favorite runs.  It was chilly outside and it took me a mile or so to warm.  Felt good.

It was a beautiful morning - there was a full  moon and it was really bright.  The only downside was that big piece of chocolate cake I ate last night (from Magleby's too) - it sat like a rock in my stomach!

4 miles on the treadmill at the gym (too cold to go outside).  Not as many DUDES at 5:45am (guess they need their beauty sleep!).  I want to get my weight down to 130 lbs but not going to start hardcore until after the holidays (just being realistic  :)  ).

Too sleepy to get my hiney out of bed this morning ( I took a nap too today!!!).  Thankfully, hubby got home from work early and I was able to get my run in while the sun was still up (just barely).  I felt so much stronger and faster today than all week.  Maybe I just needed to burn off alittle "my kids are driving me crazy" steam.

It was 12 degrees this morning at 6:30am.  Ran 6.5 with Sarah.  My legs were cold the entire time - I'm worried about adding another layer - will I even be able to move?  Had a really great run and it was fun to catch up with her.  With this cold weather, I feel like I run so much slower and my lungs are on FIRE!  Hopefully, I just need to be out more and I will get use to it!
