Just got back from my run for the day. I ran my longest run since the marathon on nov 14th...i have time for 22 and 24 in the next two weeks. I took my handheld with some new amino drink that I had a free sample that I got from one of the websites I go to. It was ok. It tasted a little sweet and was wet. i think most of those products might be good and all, but are mostly mumbo jumbo. Anyway, ran a LOT of the ING race route. i wish i could get a hold of the sadistic s.o.b. who designed this course. there is absolutely no let up at any point. i have a little twinge in the left foot - a new area of pain - shooting pain one time but it held up as long as i didn't make any weird cuts or landings. I forgot what a real long run feels like afterward. I think I went a little too fast, but it just felt like I was moving along comfortably. I think if I get in two more before the race that will help me a lot. The first 20 miler is always the hardest for me. I need to HTFU.
