really trying to get myself out the door today.  I didn't do it yesterday.  Not sure how I was so motivated last week and not this week.  5K on Saturday.  At least my legs should be fresh.

I got out before lunch and left my watch at home.  I just need to go out and run and not worry about my pace in this heat.

7.25 miles -  7:30-7:45 pace (I guess)

5.9 after work - before getting the kiddies - I really didn't mind the heat that much today.  yea!

no watch again - liked that a lot today

What's the 5K course like? Is it a PR course?

It is a decent course but no PR there for the past two years. And my training hasn't been good enough to expect one. So I'll go and try to do well in my AG and beat as many high school XC kids as I can. I think I finally decided on my goal races for the fall, so I am kind of excited about that. They will be two halfs. One on Oct 30th and one on Thanksgiving.

It's nice to run *naked* in that kind of heat!

The Fall race schedule should keep you motivated! so excited for you!

GOOD LUCK this Sat. show those HS XC kids how it's done!

yeah SMooth - it sure is nice to leave the watch at home. I should have done that a long time ago this summer. It is all about effort on these GA runs in the heat.
