Tempo day! 6 miles at tempo pace

I got out before it got too hot.

I felt comfortable and never felt overly stressed - same pace a my race thi past Saturday.  First mile was 6:03, miles 2-3 slacked a little 6:06-ish, 4 was 5:58.  5-6 were right at 6:00.   McMillan has my tempo miles btwn 5:51 and 6:06.  I'm ok with the 6:03s today but I think I need to get comfortable going sub 6.  Next tempo run I need to try to do that.

6 @ 6:03 ave pace

later in the day 4 @ 7:30 ave pave

thanks Slick - its been a trick to get the miles in this week. Not sure when they'll come today. 10 tonight should make the 17 early tomorrow tough but I guess it'll be good for me.
