I've been very inconsistent with the running, but hopefully today is the start of a routine again. Today I ran a new route, trying to mix things up. Most of Provo is pretty flat, so I tried to go up into the foothills a bit, east of Kiwanis Park. I found some monster hills that kept going up and up. It was a good workout. My splits were 7:40, 7:43, 7:08, 6:32, and 7:30 pace for the last .7. On my way back home I stopped at Kiwanis Park and did five sprints barefoot, about 100 meters. It felt good. My legs felt a bit rusty, but they warmed up and everything was feeling good. |
