I've been very inconsistent with the running, but hopefully today is the start of a routine again. Today I ran a new route, trying to mix things up. Most of Provo is pretty flat, so I tried to go up into the foothills a bit, east of Kiwanis Park. I found some monster hills that kept going up and up. It was a good workout. My splits were 7:40, 7:43, 7:08, 6:32, and 7:30 pace for the last .7. 

On my way back home I stopped at Kiwanis Park and did five sprints barefoot, about 100 meters. It felt good. My legs felt a bit rusty, but they warmed up and everything was feeling good.

I went to the gym before my run and worked out my upper body before my run. After that, I went on easy run about 7:13 pace. Splits of 7:37, 7:13, 7:07, and 6:44. It felt pretty good though my legs were a little sore from yesterday.

Another pretty easy run today. I feel fine, just trying to get back into things slowly. My average pace was 6:47. I picked it up a little bit on the last mile, with a 6:20.
