| It's been a while, running and blog wise. I haven't updated my blog in a long time, and I haven't been running consistently either. I've dealt with some injuries off and on as well as a lack of motivation, but I'm planning on picking it up again. Today I did a little over five miles. My average pace was 6:36. My mile splits were 6:36, 6:45, 6:54, 6:45, 6:12. It felt surprisingly good, except for the third mile. I was struggling a little bit, but I was able to work through it and finish feeling good. I felt fine, no nagging injuries or anything. My plan for now is to slowly increase the mileage, and start running consistently again. I plan on doing some 5ks in the next couple months, maybe do another half-marathon this summer sometime. |

| Just an easy four mile run today. I planned on it being easy, but the first half uphill and into the wind was a harder effort for the pace I was going. My average pace was 6:56, with splits of 7:12 (uphill and into the wind), 7:18, 7:12, and 5:59. The last mile felt nice and relaxed, and it was downhill with the wind at my back. I felt pretty relaxed and good, not sore from yesterday. |

| Pretty easy 4 miles today. My average pace was 6:40. I was feeling good my second mile, so I decided to push it a little, finishing with a 75 last 400. My time for that mile was 5:50. The other miles were all right around 7:00. I still feel good, no injuries and not too sore. |

| I took it pretty easy today. I averaged about 6:55 for the first three miles, and my last mile was faster, about 6:00. It felt pretty easy and I still feel great. This is the first time I've run four days in a row since like August or September? It feels good. | Comments(1) |

| Another good shorter run today. I felt really good again and relaxed. I kept the first three miles at a pretty consistent pace, 6:52, 6:27, 6:37. I was feeling really good, so I decided to pick it up the last mile and finished with a 5:33. I was struggling at the end of the last mile, but it felt all right. |

| Rex E. Lee Run today. I started out conservative, maybe a little too conservative, in eighth or ninth. 6:00 first mile uphill. Second mile passed a couple guys, 5:12. Third mile made it into third place with fourth and fifth right behind me. 6:00 Died the last 600 meters or so and ended up fifth. Not bad for being out of shape, but could have been better. | Just an easy run today. I'm still a little bit sore from my race Saturday, but not bad. It was a little chilly this afternoon, but still warm enough for shorts and a t-shirt. I had splits of 7:30, 7:09, 6:48, and 6:40. The last .15 was 5:30 pace. The total pace for the run was 6:58. It felt good. |
