Had trouble breathing during class. Skipped lab (which is NOT like me) and headed to my asthma doc (after calling to see if they could squeeze me in). My pulmonary function tests were not good, but they have been worse in the past so I am not too worried. They gave me a breathing treatment and put me on prednisone and a Z-pack. Trusting that I will be feeling a lot better in 24 hours. :)

That sounds so scary! Take care of yourself and I hope you get feeling better quickly.

Asthma bites. Cody has bad attacks like that when he gets sick with colds and we always end up getting him the shot and some strong antibiotics. Sometimes it helps, sometimes not.

Thanks, Neasts. :) I just looked at your blog. LOVED IT!!! :)

Dale~

The doc told me today that the Z-pak (azithromycin) has some property (don't remember what) that is really useful in decreasing inflammation in the lungs in addition to it being an antibiotic. Don't know much about it ... but I trust him. All I know is that if it prevents me getting pneumonia (like I got a couple of years ago) I am all for it. :)

Silly lungs of mine. I can run a marathon no problem, but one tiny little cold puts me under. Lamesauce!!!

Oh ... and bad air!! Hee Hee.

(Oh ... and just so I am clear: the marathons are always tough ... just more so on my muscles and bones than my lungs!! Yadda yadda!!)
