5 fantastic miles on the Virgin River Trail with Shelby!! Crazy how Shelby and I spend 40+ hours together at work each week and then enjoy running and hanging out at the house in the wee morning hours and/or late in the evenings! I would have never guessed that my PTA would end up being one of my closest friends. I have had a hard time really connecting on a deep friendship level with anyone in SG until Shelby. Lots of people I consider friends here, but no one that I could really share my deepest thoughts, fears, etc. with without fear of judgement. This is likely because when I'm not at work I want to hang with Ry and the kiddos. I thought I'd become close with some fellow runners, but it just didn't happen as easily as I thought it would. Our whole family LOVES Shelby!! I feel crazy lucky to have her around! :-) |
